Peak Wellness Center gives members a low monthly cost option for their primary care needs. This monthly membership allows the member to see their provider when they need to without worrying about co-pays, deductibles, or unknown cost. Members also have the ability to have an appointment in person, over the phone, or via a video call.

Joe AdragnaDoctor
Dr. Joe has had a passion for medicine from a young age after his mother was diagnosed with breast cancer. He has made it his life’s goal to become a doctor and help save lives.

Dr. Haylie Petrick grew up in Conifer, Colorado participating in 4-H with her horses. She completed medical training at the University of Colorado School of Medicine with a focus on rural primary care which is when she first fell in love with the Western Slope.
Isaac Klostermann

After becoming a PA Isaac worked in Denver practicing internal medicine. He transitioned to family medicine when he moved to Montrose. He loves the small town community and the outdoors.

Tiffany received a bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Sciences and then her master’s in Physician Assistant.

Nick was born in Colorado and loves the outdoors. It’s part of why he moved to Montrose and joined Peak. His favorite outdoor activities include snowboarding, kayaking, and golf.
Hauna Payne

Hauna received a bachelor’s degree in Biology and then her master’s as a Physician Assistant at Wichita State University. I always knew I wanted to be in the medical field. My dad is a pharmacist and growing up I had health issues and spent a lot of time at Children’s Mercy. Throughout my own personal medical journey, it instilled in me a compassion to truly understand what my patients are going through. My favorite quote is “Without suffering there wouldn’t be compassion.”
Jessica Harrell

Jessica received her Associates Degree of Nursing at Colorado Mesa University. She received her Bachelor of Science Nursing and Master of Nursing, Family Nurse Practitioner at Walden University. She was born and raised in Montrose, Colorado. She started off as a CNA and worked her way up to an LPN then a Registered Nurse. She has worked in the community as a Registered Nurse for over ten years. She has worked in long term care, home health, cardiology, and medical surgical floor care. She is bilingual in Spanish and looks forward to helping her community. Jessica’s motto is “she takes care of patients like they are family, because they are someone’s family.” She enjoys traveling, listening to music, reading, and spending time with her family.
Dr. Doug Brannam

Doug Brannam grew up in Colorado. He moved to Kansas City to attend Cleveland Chiropractic College where he completed his Bachelor of Science (BS) and Doctor of Chiropractic (DC) degrees. While in Kansas, he met and married his wife, and they began a family together. Called by the mountains, Doug brought his family back to Colorado and began practicing in Colorado Springs. Peak Family Medicine was interested in the benefits Chiropractic could provide to their patients so Peak Chiropractic joined the Peak Professionals family of medical providers.

Dr. Sommer grew up in a small town in Kansas and completed medical school at the University of Kansas School of Medicine. She then moved out west to Phoenix, AZ where she completed her family medicine residency at the University of Arizona College of Medicine at Phoenix. Prior to coming to Montrose she had been providing full spectrum family medicine care at Kansas University Medical Center. She and her husband are very excited to build their life here in Montrose.

She believes in long term relationships and building a foundation of trust with her patients. Her medical interests include caring for all ages, women’s health (including IUD and nexplanon procedures), LGBTQ+ including gender care, preventative health, acute care, and chronic disease management.

When not in clinic Dr. Sommer can be found somewhere outside with her dogs, playing recreational sports, or playing video games with her husband.

Carlos Bermudez
Carlos BermudezPhysician Assistant
Carlos graduated as a Physician Associate from Colorado Mesa University. He began his desire to help those in need through his prior career as a police officer. He realized he wanted to do more, and medicine has been his passion ever since. He loves Montrose and exploring the mountains. He enjoys hiking, trail running, playing guitar, and quality time with his friends and family.

Dr. Adams is trained in the specialty of Family Medicine. He can take care of all ages, all conditions, and all severities. He has a background in engineering and was successful in his first career until he had a calling to improve lives. At that time, he decided to attend medical school. Dr. Adams started practicing in Delta. He currently has over 10 years of experience as a Doctor in Colorado.

Dr. Adams Started with Peak Family Medicine in December 2017. He likes learning new things and taking on new challenges. Family Medicine gives Dr. Adams the chance to practice all types of medicine while helping others have a better Quality of life.
